Comfort Glow Ventfree Blueflame Heaters
Comfort Glow ventfree heaters come in natural gas or propane models.
Comfort Glow ventfree blueflame heaters are convection type heaters, they warm the air in the room which then heats the
objects in the room. Blueflame heaters work much like a central heating system. The room is wrapped in a blanket of
comfort as the air is warmed. Using ventfree heaters means you save on heating costs, with 99% heating efficiency and no
outside vent all the heat stays in the room. Safe and clean burning, Comfort Glow blueflame heaters are certified by the
American Gas Association and meet or exceed all government safety performance standards.
A dual purpose safety pilot system protects against oxygen depletion and any interruption in fuel supply.
If either occurs, the gas is shut off to the burner, turning the heater off. Blueflame heaters are ideal for back-up or emergency
heat because they require no electricity to run.
Comfort Glow blueflame heaters are manufactured in the US by Desa.
Differences in Desa heaters
The CB series Comfort Glow blueflame heaters have a rounded hearth cabinet with concealed controls
The GW series Glow-warm blueflame heaters have a square cabinet
The G series Reddy heaters are for the garage, they are basically the same as the GW models,
except the glass has been replaced by a steel panel for durability in a garage environment.
Note: Ventfree blueflame heaters greater than 6,000 btu can not be used in bathrooms, and ventfree blueflame heaters greater than 10,000 btu can not be used in bedrooms.
